The SPE billet aluminum fuel drain valve is the perfect fix for the problematic OEM drain valve. Nothing is worse than opening your water separator and being left with a broken valve leaving you stranded. After having been in this exact situation, we decided to design a billet version leaving that problem in the dust. This is a factory replacement component for the OEM drain valve (part number HC3Z-9J305-A).

It does not lock closed as positively as the plastic OEM plug. It may be because the bayonet pins are about 0.009" smaller in diameter than the OEM one. I hope it does not fall out. I also had to clip off a little bit of the plastic tabs on the filter housing to clear the extra pair of wings.
